Great place, fabulous volunteers
What a great place! The volunteers are friendly and very knowledgeable. They are happy to talk to you about each of the aircraft, and have some interesting facts and tales to share. The hangar is Covid safe. I can honestly recommend this great place, very much worth a visit.

What a gem pure nostalgia
The welcome we received from the volunteer at reception was warm and informative.
The tour was very Covid friendly with a one way system ensuring the usual protocols.
The model collection must be the finest in the land, from Bleriot to stealth fighter missing nothing .
Being an old RAF national serviceman this was a paradise, seeing kit I served with maintained under great difficulty and shown with pride and knowledge by the volunteers. Thank you Gentlemen.
The cafe coffee and sausage roll etc. Were magnificently served by the lady from Wolverhampton thank you.
A great day out and we will return with others .

My third visit to CAHC
CAHC really is a tremendous place. It is just so good to be around vintage aircraft. There have been new aircraft added to the collection each time I have visited, and I hear that this will continue to happen. You can walk around and even touch the aircraft in a way that you can’t at an airshow. The scale model aircraft display should not be overlooked - there must be well over 1000 of them.

I’m so pleased we went
My partner really wanted to go so I reluctantly agreed, I wrongly thought I’d be bored but we spent just over two hours going round and I’m so pleased that we did. There is plenty to see and you have the option to get in the planes and actually play around with the controls which the three of us loved. All of the staff were lovely, really friendly and extremely knowledgeable, they were happy to talk us through the controls and took numerous photos for us. There is also a guided tour of the VC10 I would definitely recommend seeing.

5 stars from a reluctant visitor
I enjoyed everything about this place! The volunteers really knew their stuff and brought the history of the aircraft alive. I particularly enjoyed the tour of the refuelling (tanker) aircraft - fascinating process of mid air refuelling explained brilliantly. To be honest it’s not usually my thing - I was dragged along by my partner- but I loved it!

One of the highlights of our week !
Whilst staying in Cornwall for a week we visited this wonderful exhibition of aircraft. I had always wanted to see/see a Harrier Jump jet up close and on arrival found out I was able to sit inside one was AMAZING ! There are many other aircraft you can sit in as well. All the staff are volunteers are are incredibly passionate and knowledgeable 10/10 a great day thank Q.

Brilliant experience
This was a really worthwhile experience, the staff are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, it’s a real credit to all the volunteers who work so hard to ensure everyone has an incredible experience.
We took my dad who served in the parachute regiment many years ago! Our guide was so knowledgeable and it was incredible to listen to my dad telling the stories of his military service, he saw a Shackleton which he flew all those years ago amongst many other aircraft, that he thoroughly enjoyed seeing. A definite 10 out of 10, a great family day out that I would recommend.

So much better than I dared hope!
I had high hopes for this place, being a bit of an airplane geek. However I didn’t know for sure what the rest of the family would think. I needn’t have worried as my boy, my wife and my Dad all loved it
Partly this is down to the volunteers whose enthusiasm & dedication is totally infectious and really bring the exhibits to life. Martin, in particular was a delight to be shown around by.
The model collection alone I could have spent another hour with if I’d been given more time.
Finally, the cafe was great value and all staff were lovely and clearly really cared about the site. Long may it be a success.
If you have any interest, check this gem out. You won’t be disappointed.

First visit
We chose this museum as a place to meet up with family and we had a brilliant visit. My husband was really glad to have the use of their free wheelchair to get around as we had not brought the key to his motility scooter!
The people were so helpful, explaining everything to us.
Perfect place to visit for all ages and all fitnesses. We will definitely be back.
