Gift Shop & Cafe

Cafe

Our bright and cosy café is the perfect place to pause for a rest between exploring all those incredible aircraft. Have a cup of gorgeous coffee, freshly ground for you in just the style you like, a cup of tea or a steaming hot chocolate (with whipped cream and marshmallows if you like!). Pasties, filled rolls, sandwiches, sausage rolls and sumptuous cakes, you won’t go hungry and you can relax looking out over the parked aircraft of the museum and the active runway of Newquay airport.

There is outdoor seating to enjoy the Cornish sunshine and your doggy friends are welcome (although they must stay on leads at all times).

Gift Shop

What do you want to find in an aviation museum gift shop? Lots of aviation gifts, that’s what!

We have aircraft toys, aircraft kits, aircraft pictures, souvenirs and lots, and we mean lots of aircraft books (most of our books are donated and pre-loved and the prices are simply fantastic).

Flying suits for your younger future pilots in RAF or the ever-popular Red Arrows colours. Exquisite die-cast replica aeroplanes, fun games, jig-saws and whirling, whirring wind-up planes and helicopters that the kids just seem to love.

We also have our super-cool range of Cornwall Aviation Heritage Centre logoed jackets, caps and T-shirts, so come on in and get yourself some aerospace retail therapy.

Second-hand Aviation Books

The Cornwall Aviation Heritage Centre has an enormous choice of pre-read aircraft and aerospace books for sale, all at super-keen prices.

We rely on donations of books to enable us to have such a good selection.

If you have any aviation or aerospace related books that you would like to donate, or know anyone who might, please contact us on [email protected], we’d love to take them off your hands.

The Cornwall Aviation Heritage Centre is now permanently closed due to the the termination of its premises lease. The project to relocate the museum has been set-aside as the request for 8 months deferral of notice to allow time to prepare the new site was refused. Thank you to all CAHC's supporters, especially the SDL Foundation which offered to provide £1,000,000 to finance the aborted relocation project.

Cornwall Council has terminated CAHC's tenancy and we may never open again. If you would like to help fight this decision by Cornwall Council, please sign our online petition at - https://www.change.org/p/save-cornwall-aviation-heritage-centre
